Privacy
AttentionFlare is an independent, non-commercial observatory of global media attention. It is built to collect as little personal data as possible.
What this site shows
All country scores and figures are derived from The GDELT Project, a public dataset of worldwide news coverage. The site itself does not track you across the web and sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
The contact form
If you use the feedback form, your message — and your email address, if you choose to give one (it is optional) — is stored so we can read it and, where you've left an email, reply. A copy is emailed to the site operator. To deliver that email the message passes through our email provider (Resend); it is never sold or used for marketing. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time by writing to the contact address below.
Server logs
Like any website, the server keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, request time and browser type) for security and to keep the service running. A feedback submission also records the sender's IP address, to help prevent abuse of the form.
Hosting & analytics
Traffic is served through Cloudflare, which processes requests under its own privacy policy. Any usage analytics are aggregate and cookie-free — no individual visitor is identified or followed across sites.
Your choices
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of anything you sent through the contact form, email the address below and we will act on it promptly.
